-Ouch, Sony of Japan officially announced a recall of ALL 8m.b. Playstation 2 memory cards yesterday.  Apparently a high percentage of the cards were defective.  Data saved on the card corroded the saved DVD drivers rendering the DVD movie playing capabilty useless, and ruining your Ridge Racer V save in the process.

-Backwards compatible?  And then some.  While not able to use your original Playstation memory cards (what then are you supposed to use!?) games from the original Playstation can be cleaned up and loaded much faster on the Playstation 2 console, occasional glitches have been reported but so far nothing major.

-Sega of America released Chu Chu Rocket today.  Console internet gaming is now a reality.  Look for more information and a review soon.

-Tragically Pokemon Stadium really was released yesterday, oh well, at least the kids will be inside and out of the way, right?...
